Several big changes are coming to runDisney’s fall events in 2016. First is a set of new races coming to the Walt Disney World® Resort Wine & Dine weekend and the second is a name change at the 2016 Avengers race at the Disneyland® Resort.
Until this week runDisney’s Wine & Dine weekend consisted of a half-marathon and the Mickey’s Jingle Jungle 5K. But in 2016 racers will have more options to choose from!

Complete both races within the pacing requirements and you’ll earn the coveted Lumiere’s Two Course Challenge Medal in addition to your Wine & Dine Half Marathon and Wine & Dine 10K medals. Registration for the 2016 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members will open on March 22 at noon ET and general registration will open on March 29 at noon ET.
The runDisney news also covers some changes out in California. The Avengers Half Marathon has been renamed the “The 2016 Super Heroes Half Marathon Weekend at Disneyland ® Resort”. Registration for this event will now begin on April 12, 2016 at Noon EST.
